Australian Pairs Semi-Swiss Competition (4/5/21 - 5/15/21)

Home     Contacts     Teams     The Plan     Gallery
This competition is a two-green Australian Pairs (2-4-2) choose your own partner format. Two opponents first bowl 2 bowls. The teams then switch ends and alternate bowling the next 4 bowls. The teams again switch ends and the original two bowlers bowl the final 2 bowls to complete the end. This format favors bowlers with both lead and skip experience.

The Swiss-System Competition method will be used to determine subsequent matches according to total game points, plus points, and the Median-Buchholz System.

The two greens aspect was chosen to include club social bowlers into the competition and give them a chance to place and win money. The A Green is targeted for experienced competitive bowlers. The B Green is made up of bowlers with less tournament experience. You may sign up for any green you like. However, the tournament committee reserves the right to place any team onto any green.

For more information on the rules of play, please see The Plan.

Note: The final scores are capped at the 10 plus point maximum. So, if a team won 28 - 4, the score that is recorded is 14 - 4.

You should be able to scroll the bracket up and down, left and right with your mouse or finger.
